Leslie Boutte, LPC-S, RPT-S™, TF-CBT Certified, EMDR Certified, and EMDR Consultant in Training

Leslie has been a therapist serving the Dallas community for ten years. She received her BS in Psychology from Tulane University and her MS in Counseling from the University of North Texas. Leslie began her training in counseling and play therapy at UNT, a premier training hub nationally for play therapists.

Leslie believes that each person deserves individualized care and there is no one-size-fits-all in therapy. She utilizes various treatment modalities to fit your needs and provide a safe, affirming, and inclusive space to heal (whether it be via in-person or telehealth services).

Leslie spent over eight years at the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center, a local non-profit providing services for families affected by the most severe cases of child abuse in Dallas County. Leslie also provided clinical supervision to staff and interns as well as training other therapists both locally and nationally on counseling and trauma-informed care.

Leslie is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S #70164) in Texas and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC #0018703) in Colorado, a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor™ (RPT-S™), trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and certified in both Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Leslie sees children ages two and up as well as adults, families, and fellow therapists.

Consultation and training are important in this field. Leslie actively seeks continuing education as well as trains others in trauma-informed care and has presented at the national and international level. Consultations on important issues are also provided with other mental health professionals.

Leslie is also able to provide clinical supervision to therapists working towards their LPC or RPT™ and EMDR Consultation for therapists seeking EMDR Certification.

Lauren Copenhaver, LPC-S, RPT™, EMDR Trained, TF-CBT Certified, PCIT Certified

Lauren Copenhaver is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been in practice for over seven years. Lauren’s previous clinical experience consists of serving children, adolescents and families who were victims of violent crimes at the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center, where she provided trauma-informed, evidenced-based treatment.

Lauren received her Masters of Science in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman's University in 2014. Lauren is a Registered Play Therapist™ and is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) and is pursuing certification. Lauren is a member of Postpartum Support International and has been trained on perinatal mood disorders; she is pursuing a Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C). Some of her special interests include perinatal mental health, facilitating TF-CBT groups and incorporating expressive art activities into session.

Lauren is committed to working collaboratively with clients to create empowering treatment plans and provide the highest level of care. Her services are inclusive, affirming and tailored to meet the needs of each individual that she sees.

Ana Guzmán, MS, LPC-S, RPT-S™,
EMDR Consultant in Training,

Ana is a bilingual therapist who transitioned from a previous career to becoming a mental health provider.  Ana obtained her Masters in Counseling from Southern Methodist University after realizing that helping others was more than just a career.  

Ana worked for seven years at the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center, a local non-profit organization which provides services for families affected by the most severe cases of child abuse in Dallas County.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor - Supervisor (LPC-S), Ana works with individuals of all ages.  In an effort to better serve clients, Ana is certified in multiple evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).  Ana also has special training to work with children as a Registered Play Therapist™ (RPT™).  In working with children, she melds the power of play therapy within various modalities.

Ana has a passion for serving Latinx and Spanish-speaking families as well as addressing cultural considerations.  Ana had the privilege of being awarded the Texas Association for Play Therapy (TAPT) inaugural Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity award in 2021. Ana uses she/her/ella pronouns.

Ana provides clinical supervision to therapists working towards their LPC. Ana also provides supervision towards RPT™ and EMDR Consultation for therapists seeking EMDR Certification.
